    Electrician (Journeyman or above)

    Carbon County Higher Education Center is accepting applications for the part-time position of Electrician (journeyman or above) to teach basic AC/DC compressors and pneumatics to motivated inmates at WSP. Four six-week modules. $25.00 per hour for instruction and preparation time.

    Math Instructor & Math Instructor Assistant

    Carbon County Higher Education Center is accepting applications for the part-time position of Math Instructor Assistant. Teaching/tutoring experience is preferred. Instructor/Assistant should be available to teach class Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm. 

    Math Instructor Assistant (Mastering Math class) -The Math Instructor Assistant is responsible for helping to instruct adults and youth in the subject of Math. He/she will help to equip students with knowledge and skills necessary to improve ALEKS or other college placement test scores, TEAS nursing pre-admittance test scores, or GED or HiSET high school equivalency test scores. He/she may also assist students wanting to improve their Math skills before starting college classes or for any other reason.

    Substitute Teacher

    Be a substitute teacher for fun classes in an exciting environment. We need substitute teachers for our pre-engineering, CNA, Pre-Engineering, Woodworking, Automotive, and Welding classes. 65 credit hours through an accredited college or completion of the substitute teacher’s class.
